We formed 1875 in December 2019 as a vehicle to offer ideas and methods to Birmingham City fans to help effect change in the way the club is being run.

We stand with the #BSHLOUT on Twitter as like other Blues fans, we want to see Birmingham Sports Holdings Ltd sell their stake in the club to a group which can better run and lead the club.

In the last two years, we have seen our club’s home St Andrew’s sold to unknown third parties based in opaque investment vehicles in the tax haven of the British Virgin Islands.

We have seen stands closed at the ground, with little or no communication as to what is wrong with the stands or when they will be fully reopened. Fans have been forced to move seats and even enter ballots due to the shambolic way the repairs have been handled.

We have seen poor decisions on coaches and recruitment which have ensured that the club has an unbalanced squad with little funding or budget to bring in players to ensure that the club can compete properly at Championship level.

Worse still, the actual ownership and funding of the club remains opaque with shadowy figures operating behind “official” owners.

We call on BSHL to appoint representatives to help facilitate the sale of their stake in the club, in order that fans and shareholders alike can walk away with an equitable solution.
